In the steel industry, the two most common pipes are ordinary steel pipes and galvanized steel pipes. The main difference between them lies in their surface treatment. The application fields of ordinary steel pipes are relatively narrow, and mainly used in industrial transmission, some mechanical equipment, auto parts, construction, etc.

However, compared with ordinary steel pipes, galvanized steel pipes are more expensive and have higher manufacturing costs. Therefore, galvanized steel pipes will be preferred if economic conditions permit.

In short, galvanized steel pipes and ordinary steel pipes have their characteristics, and reasonable choices should be made based on different usage scenarios and needs. For occasions where good corrosion resistance is required, galvanized steel pipes are a better choice; for ordinary transmission or processing, ordinary steel pipes are a more economical choice.
